Congratulations Al & Franny!After the unanimous 5-0 MN Supreme Court decision, Al Franken has been declared the winner of the 2008 MN Senate race. Coleman has conceded, Gov Pawlenty & Sec of State Ritchie have signed the election certificate, so it is full-speed ahead to the swearing-in which is expected to take place in Washington next Tuesday (July 7th) or thereabouts. The people of Minnesota have reclaimed Paul Wellstone's Senate Seat from the monied special interests. Congratulations to Al, Franny & all of us who worked toward this victory. Al will be a strong voice & agent for change to help pass Obama's progressive legislative agenda. And we are all fortunate to be represented by him. |
